Here's to Falling - Christine Zolendz

So as most of you will have seen I posted this on Facebook the other day - So I knew Christine Zolendz could write after reading Fall From Grace and meeting one of my favourite smart ass rockers (Shane). After picking up this morning and now finishing Here's To Falling I'm a wreck. So many feelings. I swear she broke my heart so many times and put it back together all within the pages of this book. Will definitely be sticking a link to Amazon up for this as soon as I'm near my computer. If you haven't got this book you should get it ASAP as you need it.

Synopsis - Every girl has that one guy…that one guy who steals her heart and never gives it back. We were all friends…until we weren’t. We depended on each other…until we couldn’t. We were in love…until we were ripped apart. We moved on…even when we didn’t want to let go. This is our love story.

Words can not do justice what I was feeling by the end of this book. It's such a heart breaking tale of childhood love where sometimes love just isn't enough. Charlie (Charlotte) is a strong female lead, this story is mostly set in her POV. I loved seeing her side of things and watching events unfold that give us glimpse into the girl that was as well as the woman she has become.

Jase is our hero. Seeing him as a child through to his teens from Charlie's perspective and then getting to see the man he has become was awesome. I'm definitely a Jase fan. There were a few events in this story where as I said my heart broke but some how by the end of the book it was whole again and happy after being through much. Christine definitely gives us a roller coaster. I fell in love with these characters so when we hit the highs I felt them and when the lows came I went crashing down with them.

Now everytime I hear Hozier's "Take Me To Church" I think of this book and smile. If you want a emotional read that we break and then mend your heart definitely pick up this one. Click here for link to Amazon
